Meet the Team

Shannon (Jones) Martin has been serving the amazing customers of Texas Blue Lake Pools since 1982. A third-generation family member, Shannon began counting pipe and sweeping floors for her Papaw, “Bob” Jones Sr., and Dad, Joe T. Jones, and she now serves as President. Shannon has been trained by some of the best in the industry and has served as a trainer at APSP. Shannon is very passionate about her support of her family, AISD, the Arts, Boy Scouts, and Kids Inc. She loves to work out and to travel. Shannon has been married to her junior high sweetheart, Doug Martin, for 27 years, and they are very proud of their sons, Haddon (23) and Kel (18). Their family is complete with their German Shepherd, Adella.

Joe T Jones began working for Texas Blue Lake Pools in 1958 as a pool cleaner and service technician. In 1969, Joe purchased the company from his father, “Bob” Jones Sr. and remains the primary shareholder today. Joe has played a major role in many industry organizations including the National Spa and Pool Institute, the Association of Pools and Spa Professionals, and the Master Pool Guild. He has also been very involved in several local organizations in our local community including the Khiva Shriners, Amarillo West Rotary, Amarillo Executive Club, Amarillo Harley Owners Group, and many others. Joe and his wife, Pam, love traveling and Joe enjoys working in his downtown fabrication shop.

Bryan joined the Texas Blue Lake Pools team in 2009 and now serves as its Retail Manager. He is a Certified Pool Operator and is also a BioGuard Certified Water Care Expert. He is great at helping customers and makes sure they get what they need when they visit our store. In his spare time, Bryan enjoys watching sports, homebrewing, fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking, spending time with his wife, Jenifer, and playing with his four dogs, Winston, Sadie, Indy, and Barley.

Chris originally joined the Texas Blue Lake Pools team in 1992, starting as a Service Technician and I.T. Administrator. In 2013 Chris rejoined TBLP and began designing and engineering custom inground swimming pools. He has completed many of the rigorous Genesis 3 Design School courses, as well as a variety of other artistic training courses. Chris enjoys flying Hot Air Balloons throughout the country and internationally, and he is a devoted husband to his wife, Kerri, and their sons, Jack and Jaydon.

Tandia joined the Texas Blue Lake Pools team in 2014 and is now our Financial Administrator utilizing her talents in our accounting, service, construction, and retail departments. She has over 19 years of administrative and management experience, including 8 years of experience in the swimming pool service and construction industry. Tandia loves spending time with her husband, Steven, and her three children, Jerod, Avery, and Caison. She enjoys camping, movies, music/concerts, cooking, and rooting for her Green Bay Packers.
